What if?
What if I ran away to the forest?
Run away from this demented world
Be surrounded by nature
Shrouded by peacefulness
Not a single thought on my mind
The days pass by quickly
What if I take in the beauty of the things around me?
Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, & second by second
Watch the seasons pass
Watch the trees grow & change frequently like the people that once surrounded me
They made me stressed
Made me worry about what I looked like
What I acted like
What if this is why I ran away?
To be in a surrounding that makes me appreciate the beauty around me & in me
To appreciate life for what it is
To appreciate the fact that even though there is so much evil & ugliness in this world
The smallest things
That you would have never expected
Are the ones full of beauty
You just have to look deeply & study them
To see just how great they are
What if you ran away to the forest too?
I know you'd love it here, I just do
So for a while with me wont you stay?
& we'll go on with our lives for another day
Not knowing where each turn will take us next
